Deb
After just about a decade of being in veterinary medicine, Deb has moved over to Sound Equine! Her experience within this field includes being a veterinary assistant in GP, Emergency Medicine, and Radiology. She became a manager back in 2019 and even helped open a clinic in Bellevue just over a year into her management experience! Since then, she joined a mixed animal practice and fell in love with large animal and Equine medicine.
Over the years, Deb has also gained certification to help her not only assist with patients but also with clients and the veterinary team including becoming a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional, a Fear Free Certified professional for Equine, Small Animal, and Leaders, an AAFP Feline Friendly Professional, RECOVER CPR certified, and she has gained her WA State Veterinary Medication Clerk License. Eventually, she would love to gain her Certified Veterinary Practice Managers certificate as well.
In her free time, she loves to snuggle up with her 2 basset hounds, Doug and Abby, curl up with a book and her 2 cats, Clam and Murka, paddleboard, garden, listen to music, and go to the Seattle Symphony with her husband. She is even a Licensed Yoga Instructor!
